Single wall corrugated plastic sheet making machines are used to produce corrugated plastic sheets from various thermoplastic materials like polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyamide (PA), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and others. The machine consists of an extruder that melts and extrudes the plastic resin, a die head that forms the sheet into a corrugated shape, cooling drums that solidify the sheet, and a haul off unit that pulls and collects the finished sheet.

The process starts by feeding plastic resin pellets into the extruder hopper. The extruder has a rotating screw that pushes the resin forward, melts it using heaters, and forces it through the die head. The die forms the melted plastic into a corrugated sheet profile between two counter-rotating molded steel drums. The sheet is cooled and solidified into its final shape using chilled water or air cooling systems on the drums. The finished single wall corrugated plastic sheet is then collected by the haul off unit.

By changing the die head and using different plastic resins, these machines can produce corrugated plastic sheets with various wall profiles and thicknesses, ranging from 4.5mm I.D. up to 65mm O.D.
